2011 Polaris RZR XP 900

We spent this Easter in Beulah, Colorado at a good friends ranch. I always enjoy this trip because the kids have so much fun on the Easter egg hunt and riding ATVs. But this year I was excited about this trip because my good friend Sam had just bought himself a new 2011 Polaris RZR XP 900 and I could not wait to check this toy out.

Just like every other outdoorsman I would rather be outside in the back country than behind a desk. I proud to be an outdoorsman, knowing my activities have a very positive effect on today’s economy. The fees I pay for registering my ATV, hunting licenses, fishing licenses and park passes go directly to supporting and maintaining the outdoors here in Colorado.

There is a house bill introduced here in Colorado that would allow limited ATV use on public roads. The bill is HR 1264 and it has passed the House Transportation Committee and is headed to House Appropriations.

Spring ATV Maintenance

Spring time usually means that most of the ATV trails here in Colorado are closed for the snow melt. Since I ride my ATV pretty much year round, I use this time to do ATV maintenance. For those that put their ATVs away in ATV winter storage, now is the time to get them out and make the final adjustments before the trails open up.
