Just like proper ATV maintenance is important so is Washing Your ATV. I recommend washing your ATV after every ride especially if you encountered mud on your ride. If done regularly it is about a fifteen minute job.

Soft-Sided Coolers

One of the great things about ATV camping is the ability to carry a cooler to keep your drinks cold and your perishable food from spoiling. Hard-sided coolers are nice but can be rather cumbersome on an ATV. They are heavy and sometimes difficult to secure to the ATV. Soft-Sided Coolers are much more manageable for ATV Camping.

Hog Park Reservoir – ATV Camping

Hog Park Reservoir is in the southern part of Wyoming in Medicine Bow National Forest and this was the location for ATV Camping the last week of July. There were only three of us and we actually started out on our ATVs about 40 miles south in Colorado at the Seedhouse Trailhead in Routt National Forest.
