The ATV has become has become an invaluable addition to the back country hunters gear. Just like ATV camping, an ATV enables the hunter to get to some deep remote back country areas not accessible by a full size vehicle. For most most hunters the ATV will stay at the campsite and they will hike to the hunting area to avoid spooking game animals with the ATV. In the event of a successful hunt, hunters should retrieve their harvested game during the middle of the day (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) with their ATV to reduce conflicts with other hunters.
