Having an outdoor camping grill for ATV camping is great for grilling hamburgers, hot dogs, steaks and/or chicken, but most require an open fire pit. ATV camping in the back country sometimes has restrictions like “No Open Fires” which limits the ability to grill food.
The Volcano II grill is an outdoor camping grill and a collapsible fire pit all in one. The Volcano II grill can use wood, charcoal briquettes or propane (optional) as fuel. Cool air is drawn in through adjustable vents which promotes complete fuel burning and reduced external temperatures.
Opening and closing the Volcano II grill is very easy. In its closed position the unit is only 5” high x 15.5” diameter, by simply pulling up on the handle, the entire grill pops open to 10.5” high, the legs unfold, and you have a self contained outdoor camping grill. To close the grill you lift up from the bottom, the grill folds in on itself, and the legs retract.
Another great feature of the Volcano II grill is its unique heating chamber that channels the heat upwards towards your food, instead of wasting fuel by expelling heat out the sides and bottom. This also means that the area surrounding the grill is cooler, allowing you to cook with the grill on a variety of surfaces without damage from heat.
The unit is easy to light since it is in a wind-resistant enclosed space and keeps the fire contained away from other flammable materials. Charcoal briquettes tend to burn longer, providing even heat and less replenishing, but wood burn just fine. The Volcano II grill uses less fuel than a completely open fire pit since the walls contain the heat, directing it to the cooking pot or grill.
The Volcano II grill works great with dutch ovens, just remove the grill and place up to a 12 inch dutch oven over the coals. Use the optional heat resistant Volcano II Lid to circulate the heat in the grill to create a convection oven. Just place the Volcano Lid on top of your Volcano II grill and you have a convection oven.
The Volcano II grill is designed to be a portable, collapsible, adjustable outdoor camping grill and self-contained fire pit. Once your are finished with the grill, allow it to cool, dump out the ashes, wipe it out, collapse it, and store in its carrying bag.

Wow, that is a really cool grill! This is perfect for me here in Arizona where we have specific no-burn days. This means that those no open fire laws can kiss my butt
