What is Geocaching?

I ride with a bunch of different people all over the state of Colorado and it seems everyone is using handheld GPS units for navigation. But more and more I am finding that on our rides some of the people are using their GPS for something else… Geocaching. “What is Geocaching?” I asked. Understanding ATV Electronic Fuel Injection Systems

While there are still some carbureted ATVs being manufactured, most big bore ATVs now come with ATV Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI). EFI provides a more precise amount of atomized fuel delivered to the combustion cylinder for better combustion resulting in improved throttle response and increased torque.

Street Legal ATVs

An issue that has come up several times while ATV trail riding is getting from one trail head to another legally. Many trails are separated by private land or areas where ATVs are not allowed. In order to get from one trail head to another requires trailering the ATV which can be a hassle. This is where having the ability to ride on the street with Street Legal ATVs would be a big benefit.

ATV Snow Ride at North Divide OHV Area

I have ridden ATVs all over the state of Colorado but only scratched the surface as far as the available terrain to ride in this great state. One area I have not had the chance to ride but always wanted to was an area north of Divide, Colorado. This was my first ATV snow ride at North Divide OHV Area.

Psychology Of Snow

Snow has always had a very positive effect on me. I enjoy playing in it, skiing in it, riding in it, camping in it, and just looking at it. I call it the Psychology Of Snow because of the way it makes me feel. With snow you either love it or hate it there does not seem to be any middle ground.

Why Use A Hiking Stick?

For as long as I can remember I have always used a hiking stick of some form or another while hiking the back country. Whether it be a stick I found (preferred) or an old broom stick I feel more comfortable with a hiking stick. My wife does not care to use one and constantly asks me “Why Use A Hiking Stick?”
